Registered Nurse

Job Summary
AGM Inc. is seeking a qualified and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide professional healthcare services to employees and contractors at its Aurora Gold Mine facility. The successful candidate will deliver quality patient care, respond to medical emergencies, promote workplace health and safety, and support the daily operations of the medical centre.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to employees and contractors.
• Conduct patient assessments, develop individualised care plans, and maintain accurate medical records.
• Respond to medical emergencies, stabilise patients, and coordinate medical evacuations when necessary.
• Conduct health and safety inspections of kitchens, camps, first-aid kits, and medical equipment.
• Develop and deliver health education, disease prevention, and workplace wellness programmes.
• Collaborate with medical professionals and Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) personnel to coordinate patient care and referrals.
• Maintain infection prevention and control standards.
• Support the daily operations of the medical centre.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements
• A certificate or diploma in Nursing.
• Must be registered with the Nursing Council of Guyana.
• Experience in occupational health and safety or emergency nursing is an advantage.
• Familiarity with remote work environments is preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Computer literacy and the ability to maintain accurate medical records.
