Job Responsibilities
- Grow revenue from an SME portfolio by delivering excellent service and deepening client relationships.
- Identify and onboard new SME borrowing clients, conducting credit and financial analysis in line with bank policies.
- Minimize portfolio dormancy and customer attrition while maintaining strong engagement.
- Monitor credit facilities to ensure compliance with approved terms and manage risks within acceptable levels.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building and sustaining strong relationships.
- Drive cross-selling initiatives to increase product penetration per customer.
- Maintain asset quality and keep non-performing loans within acceptable thresholds.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support the bank’s overall strategy.
- Ensure adherence to service standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide advisory support to clients on credit-related matters.
- Contribute to product development for SME banking offerings.
- Ensure full compliance with KYC, AML/CFT, and sanctions requirements, including reporting suspicious activities and completing mandatory training.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of a first degree.
- Experience in banking or financial services, preferably within the SME segment.
- Strong financial analysis and credit risk assessment skills.
- Proven sales and relationship management track record.
- Good understanding of SME market dynamics, economic trends, and competitor activity.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in PC applications and sound knowledge of banking products and practices.
- Demonstrated supervisory capability.
