SERVICE TEAM SUPERVISOR

We're on the lookout for a supervisor to lead our front-of-house service team with energy, precision, and a customer-first mindset.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Service Operations & Team Supervision
Oversee daily floor operations to ensure smooth and timely service delivery
Supervise and coordinate the service team during shifts, ensuring high standards are maintained
Prepare duty rosters and ensure effective shift coverage
Maintain professional grooming, punctuality, and discipline within the team
Monitor the cleanliness and ambience of the service areas, ensuring setup and breakdown are done correctly
Inventory Management
Forecast demand based on bookings and trends
Receive, inspect, and safely store food and beverage items
Track fast-moving stock and update procurement accordingly
Health & Safety Compliance
Ensure all service SOPs are implemented and followed
Oversee equipment maintenance and staff training for safe use
Ensure food handlers have up-to-date medical checkups
Implement emergency protocols and safety checks regularly
Customer Experience & Satisfaction
Create a welcoming, clean, and vibrant atmosphere for guests
Provide personalized service and resolve guest concerns professionally
Encourage and collect guest feedback to improve service delivery
Monitor food and drink quality and presentation Training & Development
Lead onboarding for new service staff
Provide ongoing training on menus, products, and service standards
Cross-train staff to handle multiple roles across the department
Mentor team members showing potential for leadership roles
Revenue Support & Upselling
Train the team on upselling and cross-selling techniques
Communicate ongoing promotions, happy hours, and offers to guests
Support the marketing team during special events and activations
Discipline & Reporting
Maintain professionalism in all communications and interactions
Enforce company policies and handle minor disciplinary cases
Draft and implement SOPs related to service operations
Report regularly to the Head Supervisor and support in administrative tasks
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of experience in a supervisory role within hospitality or food & beverage
Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills
Excellent problem-solving abilities and customer service focus
Flexible availability - must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Positive energy, a proactive attitude, and a genuine passion for service
