QUALIFICATION, COMPETENCE & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of Intermediate MVT/ MET/ EET
- Minimum of one (1) year post qualification experience in basic inventory control store keeping
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Tool Inventory & Asset Management
- Manage the issuance, return, receipt, and storage of tools and workshop equipment, ensuring accurate inventory control and asset accountability
- Maintain proper identification, tracking, and location management of all tooling assets
2. Tool Management System Administration
- Support the operation of the Tool Management System by accurately recording tool transactions, updating inventory records, and maintaining data integrity
- Monitor outstanding tool returns and provide timely updates to supervisors and management
3. Tool Maintenance & Availability
- Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition and readily available to support workshop and field service operations
- Maintain adequate stock levels of consumables and accessories required for tool functionality
4. Receiving, Identification & Storage
- Receive new tools and equipment, register them appropriately, engrave identification markings, and assign them to designated storage locations
- Ensure all tools are organized, labeled, and easily traceable
5. Audits, Compliance & Reporting
- Support periodic tool store and tool box audits to verify inventory accuracy and compliance with company procedures
- Report tool losses, damages, and discrepancies promptly through the required reporting channels
6. Housekeeping & Workplace Standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe tool store environment
- Ensure tooling and storage areas meet operational, safety, and housekeeping standards
