Job Summary
The Training Center Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day coordination, administration, and operational support of training programs in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV) and Rope Access. This role ensures smooth training delivery, compliance with applicable standards, effective use of instructors and facilities, and positive trainee experience.
Job Activities
Act as primary point of contact for trainees and instructors
Assist in coordinating daily operations and technical activities
Support the trainers with documentation, scheduling, and reporting.
Participate in training programs for ROV, RA, and NDT operations
Liaise with trainers, external consultants, and field personnel to ensure smooth workflow
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulators
Support HSE requirements, risk assessments, and safe training operations.
Maintain asset register and coordinate logistics for training equipment, consumables, & PPE
Knowledge, Skills, and abilities
Basic understanding of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), Rope Access, and ROV
Basic knowledge of Project management
MS Office (excel, word, power point, teams)
Highly developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Relates well to a diverse range of people and working styles
Understands the importance and application of HSSE systems
Strong troubleshooting and analytical capabilities, complemented by effective problem solving skills
Conversant with the use of hand-held tools
Proficiency in Autodesk products is an added advantage.
Qualifications:
Basic understanding of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), Rope Access, and ROV
Approximately 1 year of experience in a technical, mechanical, or engineering environment after NSS completion
