We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Warehouse Coordinator to support the efficient management of warehouse operations and inventory control activities.
Position Summary
The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing inventory management processes, coordinating stock movements, ensuring accurate record-keeping, supporting dispatch operations, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring warehouse efficiency and inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily warehouse operations and inventory management activities.
- Monitor stock receipts, storage, transfers, and dispatches.
- Conduct inventory reconciliation and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Coordinate dispatch planning and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Maintain accurate warehouse records and inventory reports.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and workplace safety standards.
- Monitor warehouse space utilization and optimize storage efficiency.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Support warehouse audits and compliance reviews.
- Implement warehouse process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications & Experience
Food Production
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in warehouse management, inventory control, or logistics operations.
- Experience within a manufacturing or food processing environment is highly preferred.
