We are seeking an experienced and reliable Warehouse Manager to oversee warehouse operations for our beverages and water products. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient storage, handling, and dispatch of goods while maintaining accurate inventory records and adhering to safety and quality standards.
Job Description
The Warehouse Manager will lead daily warehouse activities, manage warehouse staff, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with procurement, sales, and logistics teams. The role requires hands-on management to ensure smooth operations in a fast-moving FMCG environment, specifically within the beverages and water industry.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching products.
Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts.
Ensure proper stacking, storage, labeling, and handling of goods.
Manage warehouse staff, assign tasks, and provide guidance.
Monitor and control stock movement to prevent losses, damages, or discrepancies.
Prepare and maintain reports on warehouse performance, stock levels, and dispatch records.
Enforce health, safety, and security standards in the warehouse.
Coordinate with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to optimize operations.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Requirements
- Minimum HND, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven warehouse management experience (3–5 years), preferably in beverages, water, or FMCG.
- Strong knowledge of stock control, inventory systems, and warehouse operations.
- Hands-on experience with stacking, stock taking, and dispatch procedures.
- Leadership and team management skills with the ability to supervise and motivate staff.
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy.
- High level of integrity, honesty, and responsibility.
- Physically fit to perform warehouse duties.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to provide verifiable references or guarantors.
