About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Head of Accounts to lead the organization’s financial operations. This role is responsible for driving financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial planning to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee end-to-end accounting operations including general ledger, receivables, payables, and treasury functions
• Prepare and review periodic financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Ensure full compliance with tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements
• Coordinate internal and external audits, and manage resolution of audit findings
• Develop and maintain robust internal control systems
• Provide financial insights and reports to support executive decision-making
• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial records
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Professional certification (ICAN or ACCA) is required
• Minimum of 8–12 years’ experience in accounting or financial management
• At least 4 years’ experience within an Asset Management firm
• Strong experience within the financial services sector
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills
