Requirements:
Oversee credit appraisal for approval, monitoring and loan recovery.
Ensure loan portfolios comply with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
Manage credit risk and recovery strategies.
Prepare periodic credit performance reports for Management and the Board.
Prepare credit strategy for the bank.
Ensure all credit required regulatory rates are met.
Good understanding and application of IFRS9 credit impairment models.
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Professional certification (ACIB, ACCA, CICMG, etc) is an added advantage.
Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience, with 4 years in a managerial position, preferably in a Community banking environment.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
Good planning, quantitative and analytical skills.
