Job Description:
Solpower Company Ltd is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to oversee the company’s financial activities. The ideal candidate will handle bookkeeping, financial reporting, reconciliation, tax filings, and support management with financial analysis. The Accountant will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy and supporting operational decisions. This is a full-time on-site role at Spintex, Accra.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and update financial records and ledgers
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Prepare tax returns and ensure statutory compliance
• Monitor financial transactions and support audits
• Support management with financial insights for decision-making
• Ensure adherence to accounting policies and internal controls
