Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and analyzing financial data, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
• Conduct financial analysis and forecasting, providing insights to support business decisions
• Develop and implement financial models and reports to support business planning and decision-making
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies
• Manage and maintain financial records, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Provide financial guidance and support to management and other departments
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) preferred
• 2-5 years of experience in accounting and finance
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with financial planning and budgeting
• Knowledge of Ghanaian tax laws and regulations
• Experience with financial analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI)
