Responsibilities

  1. Payroll Management.
  2. Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
  3. Maintain general ledger accounts and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
  4. Prepare and process vendor invoices, payments, and staff reimbursements
  5. Track customer invoices and ensure timely collections
  6. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations
  7. Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies
  8. Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports
  9. Support budgeting and forecasting processes
  10. Ensure accounting records comply with internal policies and regulatory standards
  11. Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
  12. Prepare schedules and documentation for internal and external audits



Required Skills & Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (BSc or equivalent)
  2. 2 – 4 years of relevant accounting experience
  3. Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or in view) is an advantage.
  4. Good understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP)
  5. Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  7. High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills
  8. Good communication and teamwork skills
  9. Experience with reconciliations and financial reporting
  10. Ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision
  11. Knowledge of tax filings and regulatory requirements.
