Role Purpose:

 The Branch Manager is responsible for creating strategies to grow the Branch's business in terms of growth in deposits and advances portfolio, monitoring and coordinating the Branch's activities, and coordinating the Branch's day-to-day administration.



Key Responsibilities

  • Drive branch business growth by building and managing strong customer relationships.
  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue, deposit, loan, and profitability targets.
  • Lead, coach, and manage branch staff to deliver high performance and excellent customer service.
  • Monitor branch financial performance, operational costs, and profitability.
  • Oversee branch operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and adherence to internal controls.
  • Identify opportunities to grow the customer base and increase market share.
  • Ensure staff capability development through coaching and training.
  • Maintain strong collaboration with Head Office and other branches to achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure effective risk management, fraud prevention, and audit readiness.

  • Revenue and profitability targets achieved
  • Growth in deposits and loan portfolio
  • New customer acquisition and cross-selling
  • Loan portfolio quality (NPL ratio)

QUALIFICATIONS (professional, technical, academic)

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Account or Finance or any related field
  • Minimum of 8 years experience
