JOB SUMMARY:
Chevron Leaf Tobacco is a Zimbabwe-based global tobacco supplier. Our main products includes cut rag, and lamina or strips tobacco blends.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collect and integrate data from multiple sources, including databases and ERP systems
- Analyse complex datasets to identify trends and insights for guiding business decisions
- Deliver data-driven projects from planning to execution, ensuring timely and accurate insights
- Build and maintain BI dashboards and reports to track KPIs and measure business performance
- Apply statistical analysis, forecasting, and scenario modelling to support planning
- Provide clear, actionable recommendations to senior management and teams
- Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Agronomy, and Export units to embed insights in daily decision making
- Continuously improve BI tools, processes, and methods to enhance performance

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or strategy execution
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or strategy projects
- Hands-on experience with BI solutions in agriculture, tobacco, FMCG, finance, or export industries is highly desirable
- Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, Python, and Advanced Excel
- Strong understanding of statistical and analytical techniques
- Proven ability to manage BI or analytics projects from concept to delivery
- Track record of implementing data projects that improve performance, compliance, or profitability
- Strong communication skills to present complex analysis clearly
