Valley View University invites applications from qualified and competent individuals for the position of Cashier at the University Bakery.
QUALIFICATIONS
The applicant must possess a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting and have relevant working experience in accounting or finance.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive and deposit cash (Daily)
- Track credit customers for Cash payment and report same to Accountant (Daily)
- Ensure proper receipting and prompt lodgement of cash at the Bank (Daily)
- Manage Bakery Imprest (Daily)
- Prepare all Cheque Payments (Daily)
- Ensure proper Stocktaking (Quarterly/Yearly)
- All others that shall be assigned from time to time (As and when)
