Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Claims Officer to manage and process insurance claims efficiently. The ideal candidate will ensure that claims are handled fairly, accurately, and in compliance with regulatory standards while maintaining excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and evaluate insurance claims submitted by policyholders.
- Investigate claims to determine validity and assess coverage.
- Negotiate settlements and authorize payments within approved limits.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date claims records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with NAICOM regulations and internal claims policies.
- Communicate with clients, adjusters, and legal teams to resolve claims promptly.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in claims management within the insurance industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Professional certification (e.g., CIIN) is an added advantage.
