Job Description:
As the Director HR, your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing all HR functions (recruitment, performance management, compensation & benefits, training, compliance)
- Designing & implementing HR strategies and policies aligned with the university’s mission & growth objectives
- Leading employee engagement, retention, and organizational culture initiatives
- Developing leadership and professional development programs for faculty and staff
- Managing payroll, attendance systems, and ensuring integrity of HRIS data
- Ensuring compliance with labour laws, institutional standards, and HR best practices
- Acting as a strategic advisor to senior management on people-related matters and organizational structure
- Promoting a culture of transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA/MS preferred)
- 8 to 10 years of proven experience in a senior HR role — preferably in academia, corporate, or large-scale institutions
- Strong understanding of strategic HR planning, organizational development, and HR operations
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity
