About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Finance Manager with a strong background in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry. The ideal candidate will possess deep understanding of both manufacturing and sales operations, driving financial efficiency, compliance, and strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Develop and implement financial controls, policies, and procedures to support business growth.
• Partner with operations and sales teams to provide insights that enhance profitability and cost efficiency.
• Conduct financial analysis to support pricing strategies, cost management, and business planning.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and ensure timely financial reporting.
• Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
• Lead and mentor the finance team to achieve performance goals.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field (master’s degree is an advantage).
• 8–10 years of progressive finance experience within FMCG manufacturing or sales organizations.
• Strong understanding of FMCG operational dynamics — inventory, distribution, and sales cycles.
• Partially qualified accountant (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ICA), with strong management accounting or commercial finance experience.
• Exposure to audit is acceptable, but preference will be given to candidates with operational finance experience.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
