Finance Manager – Job Description
The Finance Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the company’s financial activities. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, effective internal controls, compliance with regulations, and proper use of company funds. The Finance Manager will also support management with financial analysis and decision-making.
 
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management accounts.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Monitor company cash flow and manage treasury activities.
  • Ensure proper financial controls, policies, and procedures are implemented and followed.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable activities.
  • Oversee tax filings, statutory payments, and regulatory compliance.
  • Review and approve payments, invoices, and financial transactions.
  • Support procurement processes including review of RFQs and RFPs.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support management decision-making and cost control.
  • Identify financial risks and implement mitigation measures.
  • Coordinate audits (internal and external) and respond to audit queries.
  • Supervise finance staff and provide guidance and performance monitoring.
  • Ensure accurate record keeping and proper documentation of all financial activities.
  • Liaise with banks, auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders.
