Job Summary
To lead financial planning, control, reporting, and risk management. ensuring strong financial performance, compliance, and alignment with corporate strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models
Track performance vs. budget and provide variance analysis
Support strategic decision-making through insights and recommendations
Financial Reporting
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
Ensure accuracy and compliance with IFRS and company policies
Consolidate financial across factory plants and Cost Control & Efficiency
Monitor production and operating costs in the factory
Drive cost optimization initiatives and analyze cost drivers (energy, logistics, raw materials) and recommendation for management decision.
Compliance & Internal Controls, Strengthen internal controls and audit processes, Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
Manage relationships with auditors (internal & external)
Cash Flow &Treasury Oversight like overdraft management
Monitor working capital (inventory, receivables, payables)
Management of international finance of letter of credit and other mean of international payment.
Report directly to Executive Director – Finance, Admin and corporate services
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related field
Minimum of five years post professional qualification in Accounting
Professional certification required: ACA / ACCA / CIMA
Experience in Pharmaceutical manufacturing industry will be of added advantage
Computer literate in accounting packages and other related software.
Knowledge on international trade and finance
Excellent Knowledge of Nigeria Tax law.
