Key Responsibilities
Oversee all accounting and financial operations of the company.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records and reporting.
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance.
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and treasury functions.
Ensure timely preparation and posting of accounting entries, journals, and financial transactions.
Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
Develop and maintain effective internal control systems and financial policies.
Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to management.
Lead, mentor, and supervise the finance and accounts team.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Professional qualification: ICAN (Mandatory).
Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role.
An MBA will be an added advantage.
Previous experience in a trading company is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, treasury management, and internal controls.
Excellent analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
