Job Summary
HDG Incorporated is seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to lead our finance function. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing budgeting, financial reporting, tax compliance, and project costing. This role requires a hands-on leader who can optimize financial systems (particularly SAP ERP), support strategic decision-making, and ensure the financial health and high performance of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax laws, and internal financial policies.
- Manage and optimize accounting software usage, especially SAP ERP.
- Conduct financial planning and analysis to support strategic decisions.
- Monitor project costing, profitability, and financial risk.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the Company.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns for filing with the relevant regulatory authorities and tax reports for planning for the Company.
- Support contract negotiations and vendor assessments.
- Lead and manage the finance function to ensure high performance.
- Travel to project sites and partner locations as required.
Qualifications & Experience (Inferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, ICA Ghana) is required.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a senior finance role, with proven experience in financial management and reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software, specifically SAP ERP, is essential.
- Strong knowledge of Ghanaian tax laws and statutory regulations.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
