Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Implement and enforce strong internal controls to prevent fraud and financial risks
• Manage financial audits and liaise with external auditors
• Maintain accurate financial records and statutory filings
• Develop and oversee the company’s budget and financial forecasts
• Monitor budget variances and cost control measures
• Provide financial insights and recommendations for business growth
• Prepare and submit periodic reports to the CFO on the activities of the department.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and regulatory financial standards
• Oversee financial governance policies and ensure compliance with corporate policies
Education and Work Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or any other related discipline.
• Relevant professional qualifications such as ACA, CIMA, CPA, ACCA.
• Minimum of twelve (12) years relevant experience with at least three (3) years in a senior managerial position.
