Job Summary:
The Health and Safety Associate will support the implementation and monitoring of health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures across Movis Logistics operations. This role involves assisting with safety inspections, risk assessments, training, and record-keeping to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting regular safety inspections and risk assessments at operational sites and offices.
- Support the implementation of health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations.
- Assist in maintaining safety records, incident reports, and accident investigation documentation.
- Support the coordination of safety training sessions and drills for staff.
- Monitor and report on the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety gear.
- Assist in identifying potential hazards and recommending corrective actions.
- Support the preparation of HSE reports and documentation for management review.
- Promote a positive safety culture across the organization.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field. (A background in HSE or related disciplines is an advantage).
- Experience: No prior experience required; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Skills:
- Basic knowledge of health and safety principles and practices.
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
