Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant Site Safety Inspector to conduct daily safety inspections on our road construction sites. The role focuses on identifying hazards, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and promoting safe work practices among site personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily safety inspections of all work areas, equipment, and personnel activities.
- Identify and document unsafe conditions, behaviors, and practices.
- Issue corrective action notices and follow up to ensure timely resolution of hazards.
- Monitor the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure its availability and proper use.
- Assist in incident reporting and investigation processes.
- Participate in toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Maintain detailed inspection logs and submit daily reports to the HSE team.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2–3 years' experience in site safety inspection, preferably in road construction or heavy civil works.
- Valid safety training certification (e.g., OSHA 30-hour, IOSH Working Safely).
- Good understanding of construction site hazards and control measures.
- Strong observational and documentation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with site workers and supervisors.
