Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Risk & Hazard Analyst to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with road construction activities. The role involves using analytical tools and methodologies to predict potential hazards and recommend proactive measures to prevent incidents.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and hazard identification for all project phases.
- Develop and maintain risk registers and hazard databases.
- Analyze incident data and trends to identify recurring risks and recommend preventive actions.
- Utilize quantitative and qualitative risk analysis techniques to evaluate potential impacts.
- Collaborate with project teams to design and implement risk control measures.
- Prepare detailed risk reports and presentations for management and clients.
- Monitor the effectiveness of implemented risk mitigation strategies and adjust as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–4 years' experience in risk analysis, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Professional certification in risk management (e.g., ISO 31000, NEBOSH, IRM) is an advantage.
- Proficiency in risk analysis software and tools.
- Strong statistical and analytical skills.
- Excellent report-writing and presentation skills.
