High‑Tech Processing is looking for a motivated Junior Process Engineer to support process design, commissioning, and plant implementation across projects in South Africa and Africa.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with conceptual and detailed process designs.
- Prepare Basis of Design and Scope Definition documentation.
- Develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Compile datasheets, control philosophies (C&Fs/FDS), and performance criteria.
- Support procurement through equipment specifications and material take‑offs.
- Work with multi‑disciplinary teams to deliver engineering solutions.
- Provide site support during construction, commissioning, and testing.
- Participate in Performance Acceptance Tests (PAT) and project handover stages.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and filing systems.
REQUIREMENTS
- BSc Eng/BTech / NDip or equivalent in Chemical/Process Engineering.
- 0‑3 years relevant engineering experience.
- Ability to interpret and develop PFDs and P&IDs.
- Strong technical documentation and report writing skills.
- Drivers licence + own transport.
- Willingness to travel in RSA and Africa.
