About the Role
Dia-Emerald Consult is seeking a highly experienced and organized operations professional to oversee facilities, equipment, procurement, supply chain management, and operational performance for a healthcare facility in Accra.
The successful candidate will ensure the efficient use of resources, maintain operational standards, strengthen supplier relationships, and support the organization’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- * Oversee preventive maintenance of buildings, utilities, and medical equipment.
- * Ensure effective procurement, inventory control, and stock management for medicines, consumables, and medical supplies.
- * Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor vendor performance.
- * Ensure equipment maintenance schedules and facility inspections are completed.
- * Monitor the availability and reliability of essential utilities and infrastructure.
- * Coordinate procurement, inventory, and storage activities to support uninterrupted hospital operations.
- * Monitor operational performance and prepare accurate reports for management.
- * Support annual operational planning, budgeting, and performance improvement initiatives.
- * Identify opportunities to improve service utilization, patient retention, and organizational growth.
- * Ensure compliance with operational policies, quality standards, and risk management procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications
- * Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, Hospital Management, or a related field.
- * A master’s degree in project management, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related discipline is an advantage.
- * At least 7–10 years of relevant management experience, preferably in healthcare or the insurance industry.
- * Demonstrated experience in operational leadership and managing multiple departments.
- * Strong knowledge of budgeting, strategic planning, performance management, and process improvement.
- * Excellent organizational, analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- * Experience in procurement, supplier management, facilities management, and inventory control.
