Job Description
Prosupport Services Company Limited is seeking a proactive, organised, and detail-oriented Operations Officer to join its team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising daily driver activities, coordinating vehicle movements, monitoring operational performance, and ensuring the smooth running of the company's transport and logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of drivers.
- Monitor driver attendance, punctuality, conduct, and performance.
- Coordinate vehicle assignments, routes, deliveries, and collections.
- Ensure drivers comply with company policies, road safety regulations, and operational procedures.
- Monitor vehicle usage, fuel consumption, maintenance schedules, and general vehicle conditions.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle movements.
- Follow up on delivery schedules, operational delays, and customer concerns.
- Report accidents, vehicle breakdowns, and operational incidents promptly.
- Assist with administrative duties and other assignments as directed by management.
- Prepare operational reports and provide regular updates to management.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must have completed university between 2022 and 2024.
- Minimum of an HND or bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics, Transport Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in transport, logistics, fleet management, or operations will be an advantage.
- Good organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to supervise drivers and coordinate multiple activities.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- A valid driver's license and practical driving experience will be an advantage.
