PROCUREMENT OFFICER

Job Purpose:
The Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the supply of mobile phones, accessories, and other products. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong negotiation skills to ensure the company obtains high-quality goods at competitive prices while maintaining accurate records and timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sourcing & Supplier Management:
  • Source and evaluate suppliers for mobile phones, accessories, and other products.
  • Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate with suppliers.
  • Maintain good relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Verify the quality and quantity of goods received.
• Purchasing & Order Processing:
  • Prepare and process purchase orders.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate purchases based on company requirements.
  • Ensure timely delivery of purchased items.
• Inventory & Record Keeping:
  • Keep accurate records of purchases, suppliers, invoices, and deliveries.
  • Monitor market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the Warehouse, Sales, Finance, and Management teams to align procurement with business needs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the mobile phone, electronics, or retail industry.
• Technical Skills:
  • Good knowledge of purchasing and inventory processes.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
• Soft Skills:
  • Good negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Must be detail-oriented and have good analytical skills.
