🎯 Main Responsibilities 

Based on the description, your day-to-day would include:

  1. End-to-End Procurement – Sourcing suppliers, requesting quotes (RFQs), negotiating prices/terms, creating purchase orders (POs), and ensuring timely delivery of raw materials and supplies.
  2. Supplier Relationship Management – Vetting new vendors, renegotiating contracts, resolving delivery disputes, and evaluating supplier performance.
  3. Inventory & Stock Control – Monitoring stock levels, conducting regular physical counts, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring minimal stockouts or overstocking.
  4. Stores Operations – Overseeing the warehouse/yard, ensuring proper storage, issuance of materials to production departments, and maintaining accurate goods-in/goods-out records.
  5. Cost & Compliance – Ensuring every purchase delivers value for money, adhering to company procurement policies, and maintaining full audit trails for all transactions.
