Job summary

The Project Manager – Operations plays a central role in the execution, coordination, and development of the company’s core activities. This position sits at the intersection of operations, commercial execution, and client management, ensuring that day-to-day business functions run smoothly while actively contributing to business growth. The role requires a high level of autonomy, ownership, and versatility. As the business scales, the scope of responsibilities and seniority of the position may evolve toward a managerial or director-level role, subject to demonstrated capability, leadership, and results.




Key Responsibilities:

The Project Manager – Operations is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the main operational and commercial functions of the business, including but not limited to:

Operations & Systems

  • Manage and monitor digital screens and related operational infrastructure
  • Oversee internal systems and operational workflows
  • Ensure proper coordination of screen deployment, maintenance, and usage

Campaign & Advertising Execution

  • Coordinate the placement and execution of advertising content on screens
  • Ensure campaigns are implemented in line with client agreements and timelines
  • Act as a liaison between commercial commitments and operational delivery

Commercial & Client Management

  • Participate actively in selling advertising slots and closing commercial deals
  • Contribute to sales strategy, pitching, and prospecting efforts
  • Build, develop, and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
  • Ensure proper follow-up on client communication, invoicing, and payments

Financial & Driver Coordination

  • Oversee driver-related payments and operational coordination
  • Ensure accuracy, transparency, and timeliness of operational and commercial payments

Communication & Coordination

  • Coordinate internally across sales, operations, and finance to ensure alignment
  • Communicate with external stakeholders including clients, drivers, and partners Strategic Contribution
  • Actively contribute ideas, recommendations, and insights to help define and refine company strategy
  • Identify operational efficiencies, performance gaps, and growth opportunities


Autonomy & Leadership

  • Operates with limited day-to-day supervision
  • Expected to take initiative, make informed decisions, and manage priorities independently
  • As the business grows, will progressively help build, structure, and manage a team


Required Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in:
  • Communication, marketing, or related fields
  • Client management and commercial negotiation
  • Sales strategy, pitching, prospecting, and deal closing

Preferred Background

  • Experience in advertising, media, marketing solutions, or technology- enabled services
  • IT-related experience is a strong advantage, particularly in environments involving digital platforms, infrastructure, or technology-driven solutions

  • Strong presentation skills, including the ability to create professional and persuasive PowerPoint presentations
  • Ability to present and explain technical, digital, or infrastructure-based offerings in a compelling and accessible manner
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders, build trust, and sustain long-term client connections
  • Persuasive communication and negotiation skills, with demonstrated ability to convince clients and drive purchase decisions
  • Strong analytical thinking, including the ability to interpret data, derive insights, and develop evidence-based recommendations
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills
  • Client-oriented, results-driven mindset
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup / scale-up environment
  • Strategic thinker, proactive, reliable, and solution-oriented


Languages

  • English required
  • French is a strong plus, given regional and international growth potential
