Key Responsibilities
Drives and manages adviser growth, profitability and sales growth in the region.
Manages all stakeholders which includes Franchise Principals, advisers and customers in the regional market.
Focus on building strong relationship and networks, both internally and externally
Builds a high-performance ethic in the region amongst Franchises and advisers.
Manages structures and resources within the region to support the contracted Franchises.
Manages and minimises business risks in the region.
Ensures Financial Services Industry regulations and Old Mutual policies are adhered to.
Minimum Requirements
A relevant degree/tertiary qualification or CFP that meets the FSB’s qualification requirement.
Must be a registered Key Individual or fulfilled a function that will qualify as a Key individual
A minimum of 10 years’ experience within the financial Services Industry
Must have an established track record of experience in managing sales staff
Must have a clear understanding of sales and distribution within the life assurance and investments industry.
Proven success as a manager, preferably within a Franchise environment.
Knowledge and experience of People Leadership, Relevant Legislation, Customer Marketing Strategy, Strategic Leadership, Sales Management, Financial and Risk Management.
Excellent networking and consultation skills.
Understand financial principles and controls and business processes.
Experience and knowledge of products distributed.
Knowledge and an understanding of present and future trends in the industry.
An understanding of how the Socio-economic and Political environment affect the industry.
