Public Relations Officer
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer*
Job Summary
We're seeking a skilled Public Relations Officer to manage and maintain a positive image of our organization through effective communication with the public, media and stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing PR strategies, managing media relations, advertising, new business development and crafting compelling strategies for the brand in line with its values and mission.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies to achieve organizational goals.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with media representatives, and stakeholders.
3. Craft press releases, proposals, concept papers, media kits and other PR materials.
4. Handle communications on the organisations various platforms.
5. Coordinate events, conferences and press conferences
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or related field.
2. Proven experience in Public Relations and Marketing
3. Excellent writing, speaking and interpersonal skills.
4. Strong media relations and networking skills.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Class 4 Drivers license
