We’re seeking an experienced Quality Control Officer to join our team. As Quality Control Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products – from raw materials to finished cabinets and countertops – adhere to set quality standards, structural integrity and aesthetic requirements


Key Responsibilities

Incoming Material Inspection

• Verify the quality of raw materials, such as wood panels, laminate, hardware (hinges, drawer slides) and granite or quartz countertops, before they enter the production line
• Check for damage, defects and conformity to specifications (e.g moisture resistance of plywood, color consistency)

In-Process Monitoring and Inspection

• Conduct regular in-line inspections during fabrication, edge banding and assembly to identify defects early, such as welding issues or poor machining
• Verify dimensional accuracy and alignment of components against blueprints or production drawings
• Ensure proper hardware installation and functionality of drawers and doors

Final Product Inspection and Testing

• Perform thorough visual and functional checks on finished kitchen cabinets, including surface finish consistency color matching and structural stability
• Inspect for scratches, dents or uneven finishes
• Ensure that all products are properly packed to prevent damage during transportation

Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results and non-conformities
• Generate reports for management, summarizing rework, waste and overall quality KPIs
• Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) when products fail to meet standards

Correction and Improvement

• Identify the root cause of defects and collaborate with the production team to implement corrective actions
• Develop, maintain and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent quality

Equipment Maintenance

• Ensure that testing instruments, such as calipers, tape measures and moisture meters, are calibrated and working accurately


Qualification Required & Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of experience
• Good communication skills to provide feedback to production teams
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and design specifications
• Knowledge of woodworking, cabinetry or manufacturing processes
• Proficiency in using precision measuring tools
