Job Summary:
We are a growing company in the farming equipment industry supplying durable, high-quality products for smallholder farmers such as shellers, oil press machines, peanut butter processing equipment, Stock feed making machines and other agricultural tools. We are looking for a motivated and energetic Sales & Marketing Officer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Promote and sell farming equipment to individual farmers, cooperatives, and institutions
2. Identify new business opportunities and develop client relationships
3. Manage and grow social media presence (Facebook, WhatsApp, etc.)
4. Conduct field visits, demonstrations, and marketing campaigns
5. Prepare weekly sales reports and meet monthly sales targets
Requirements:
1. Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Sales, Agriculture, or related field
2. At least 1 year experience in sales or marketing (agricultural sector an added advantage)
3. Strong communication and negotiation skills
4. Must be self-driven, target-oriented, and willing to travel
5. Knowledge of farming communities and agricultural equipment is a plus
