 Job Summary
The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing human resource strategies that support the company’s business objectives. The role oversees all HR functions including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, policy development, training, compliance with labour laws, and human capital development.

 
 
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with the company’s goals. 
• Oversee recruitment, selection, onboarding, and confirmation processes across all departments. 
• Manage performance management systems, including KPIs, appraisals, and promotions. 
• Provide guidance to management on employee relations, disciplinary actions, and grievance resolution. 
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws, employment contracts, and regulatory requirements. 
• Oversee payroll coordination in collaboration with the Finance Department. 
• Develop and implement training, learning, and staff development programs. 
• Drive employee engagement, welfare, and organizational culture initiatives. 
• Maintain and oversee accurate employee records and HR documentation. 
• Support ISO certification and internal/external audit requirements related to HR processes. 
• Advise management on workforce planning, succession planning, and talent retention strategies. 
• Prepare and present HR reports and metrics to management. 
• Manage HR budgets and control departmental costs. 
• Perform other duties as may be assigned by management.

 
 
Requirements & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field. 
• Minimum of 7 years progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. 
• Professional certification (CIPM, SHRM, or equivalent) is highly required. 
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour and employment laws. 
• Proven experience in performance management, employee relations, and HR policy development. 
• Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills. 
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism. 
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR management systems.
