Job Summary:
Golden Arrows Security is looking for an experienced Control Room Operator to help secure client assets through the surveillance of our CCTV, and communication network etc.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform daily control room tasks with high integrity and efficiency
2. Monitor, identify, document and investigate any inconsistencies that pertain to the safety and security of employees, facilities, products, cash, property, and any other assets.
3. Monitor CCTV and report any unusual activity to the Duty Security Supervisor
4. Respond promptly to radio checks and keep accurate records of all communication
5. Using technical gadgets to check dashboard clocking in and out system for our security personnel.
6. Operating checklist system devices which enable our guards to fill in checklists and reports electronically.
7. Monitor emergency communication system to ensure a seamless emergency communication between our security personnel and the control room or emergency services.
8. Respond to panic button and tracking system in case of an emergency, and track the device to ensure prompt response.
9. Keep a record of any incidents and report these to the Duty Security Supervisor
10. Monitor vehicle and staff movements via our Geolocation software, comprehensive trip, risk management reports
11. Alert reporting referring to application, geofencing and fuel monitoring
Issue field visit related equipment to staff on the instruction of the Operations Manager
Report any alarm activation to the Duty Security Supervisor.
Monitor the external security situation and provide the best routes and road status to company drivers.
Manage the main switchboard, answer all the calls and direct them to the right department promptly and courteously.
Identify and recommend changes to improve our security operation
Any other duty as directed by the Supervisor.
Requirements:
1. At 5 "O" levels including English and Maths
2. Diploma or equivalent in Security/Police Studies/Radio operator/ICT
3. Experience using relevant technology and security equipment (e.g. CCTV, Computers, 2-way radio and security software)
4. Experience in reporting and emergency response planning
5. Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures
6. At least 2 years' experience as a control room operator
7. Proficient in MS Office and Google Suite
8. Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
