Role Summary
A growing logistics and delivery company is seeking a Courier Operations Representative to support and coordinate daily delivery operations in Tamale. This role is suited for an individual with some prior experience in logistics, dispatch, or operations who is organized, responsive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient delivery execution and maintaining service quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery Operations
• Coordinate daily delivery schedules and assign tasks to riders
• Monitor active deliveries to ensure timely completion
• Identify and resolve delivery issues, including delays and failed deliveries
Rider Coordination
• Maintain regular communication with riders throughout the day
• Track attendance, availability, and delivery performance
• Assist with onboarding and basic training of new riders when required
Vendor and Customer Support
• Liaise with vendors to ensure smooth order fulfillment
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve delivery-related concerns
• Maintain a high standard of customer service
Reporting and Administration
• Track daily delivery activity and prepare basic performance reports
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, incidents, and rider activity
• Use internal systems and mobile tools for updates and tracking
Requirements:
• 1 to 3 years of experience in logistics, courier services, dispatch, or operations
• Minimum of SHS or HND qualification (a degree is an advantage but not required)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable using smartphones and basic digital tools such as messaging apps and spreadsheets
• Must be based in Tamale or willing to relocate
