Job Description
Auntie Nkran Partners seeks an experienced Transport Manager to lead fleet operations, ensure safe and timely deliveries, manage drivers, optimize costs, and maintain high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan/coordinate transport schedules & dispatch.
- Ensure optimal fleet utilization & GPS monitoring.
- Manage drivers: onboarding, training, discipline, safety culture.
- Investigate incidents & enforce compliance.
- Ensure DVLA/NRSA/GRA compliance, licensing & insurance.
- Oversee vehicle maintenance, service schedules & asset planning.
- Monitor fuel usage, reduce wastage, control costs.
- Prepare reports & drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Degree/HND in Transport Mgmt, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business.
- 5+ yrs transport/fleet experience (2+ yrs supervisory).
- Strong knowledge of fleet maintenance, routing & compliance.
- Experience in haulage, FMCG or industrial logistics is a plus.
