RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Operations
* Stock management
* Manage station per JD Link Health Safety Environment (HSE) Standards.
* Maintain Accurate and reliable records of the Generator set usage, management and
operations.
* Report technical faults promptly to management through the area manager Report
technical faults promptly to management through operations manager.
* Run appropriate tests with prior approval from management to ensure smooth operations
at the station.
* Maintain inventory controls of stocks and materials.
* Maintain good housekeeping practices at all times
* Ensure that all statutory, industry and company regulations are strictly complied with.
* Maintain healthy customer relationship at all times at the filling station.
2. Human Resource Management
* Liaise with management to undertake human resource management at the stations.
* Collaborate with Area Manager and HR to hire, recruit and train filling station staff.
* Assign, schedule and monitor tasks of filling station staff
3. Finance
* Cash management- disburses and account for petty cash allocated to the station
expeditiously as per the directives given by the finance department.
* Compile and send daily product sales and lubricants sales reports promptly to the head
office for appraisal.
* Request for and make payment for all station- specific expenses on timely basis.
4. Marketing
* Scouting for new credible clients and exploring marketing potentials while maintaining a
prospective client database as well as managing existing clients.
* Responsible for preparing weekly report to the Head of Marketing on status of clients as
well as client debt profiles.
* Solving customer complaints, concerns and cash or cheque collection from debtors to
which will be assisted by the head of marketing.
* Proper monitoring and evaluation of clients’ portfolios within the agreed signed supply
agreements.
* Develop and manage strategies of increasing patronage at the filling station.


TECHNICAL COMPETENCE
1. Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the fuel industry, including safety,
documentation, and environmental standards.
2. Ability to foster and maintain strong relationships with Dealers and customers.
3. Proficiency in analyzing sales reports and providing actionable insights to improve
station performance.
4. Skilled in conducting audits and identifying discrepancies, particularly in stock and sales
data.


PERSONAL COMPETENCE
1. Strong leadership abilities to manage and motivate station supervisors effectively.
2. Ability to identify operational issues promptly and implement effective solutions.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with staff, management, and
external vendors.
4. Ability to adapt to changing operational needs, including reshuffling staff and addressing
urgent station issues.
5. Capacity to devise and implement strategic plans for sales growth and compliance
