Job summary

The Technical Operations Lead (TOL) is the operational backbone of the Intelligent Display & Digital Signage business. The role ensures that demo units and showroom systems are always functional and professionally configured, warehouse and stock movements are tightly controlled with full traceability, products are released only after confirmation


 Responsibilities: 

Demo Centre Operations (HQ Showroom)

  • Maintain the Accra HQ demo centre as a professional, client-ready environment.
  • Ensure demo units are powered, connected, updated, and fully functional.
  • Configure Android systems (network, permissions, updates).
  • Configure Windows OPS systems where applicable.
  • Load approved demo content for education, corporate, and signage use cases.
  • Support sales demonstrations as the technical authority.
  • Explain features clearly to non-technical customers.
  • Follow a daily and pre-demo checklist to ensure zero demo failures.

 

Warehouse & Inventory Control

  • Receive, verify, and store incoming stock accurately.
  • Hold and secure warehouse keys.
  • Release products only against approved PRA documentation.
  • Maintain a physical warehouse logbook capturing date, time, order number, model, quantity, and purpose.
  • Update internal stock records promptly.
  • Maintain a separate register for demo units.
  • Support weekly or bi-weekly physical stock reconciliation by the GM.

 

 Installation Coordination

  • Coordinate with external hardware installer on a task basis.
  • Confirm site readiness before installation.
  • Ensure installer scope is strictly hardware-only.
  • Perform system configuration after installation.
  • Conduct client handover and basic user training.

 

After-Sales Technical Support

  • Provide first-line technical support.
  • Log all support requests and resolutions.
  • Resolve issues remotely where possible.
  • Coordinate warranty claims and repairs.
  • Conduct periodic checks for key clients.
  • Escalate recurring or serious issues to GM.

 

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain demo, installation, warehouse, and support documentation.
  • Submit weekly operational reports to GM.
  • Escalate immediately any control breaches or suspicious requests.

 

 

Performance Indicators (KPIs)

 

  • Demo success rate (target 98%+).
  • Warehouse log completeness (100%).
  • Zero unauthorized stock releases.
  • Installation success rate (95%+).
  • Support response and resolution times.
  • Low repeat-issue rates.

 

 Qualifications & Experience

 

  • Diploma/HND/BSc in IT, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in IT support, AV systems, or technical operations.
  • Strong Android, Windows, and basic networking skills.
  • Experience with interactive displays or digital signage is an advantage.

2,400 - 3,000 GHS
