Core Responsibilities
1. Execution Ownership & Decision Filtering
* Own execution of group priorities across all subsidiaries.
* Serve as the primary decision filter for the GCEO, ensuring only critical, well-structured decisions are escalated.
* Resolve operational issues independently and escalate only when truly necessary, always with clear options and recommendations.
* Ensure clarity on what matters now, who owns it, and when it will be delivered.
2. Systems Building & Standards Enforcement
* Build and enforce clear, repeatable operational systems that drive consistency and accountability across the group.
* Define and enforce execution standards for planning, delivery, reporting, and follow-through.
* Eliminate dependency on individuals by ensuring operations are driven by systems, not personalities.
* Identify recurring issues and design system-level fixes rather than one-off solutions.
3. Project Coordination, Delivery & Discipline
* Oversee all group projects from approval through execution.
* Eliminate weak, misaligned, or low-impact projects early, with documented rationale.
* Ensure clarity on deliverables, success metrics, owners, and timelines before execution begins.
* Remove blockers proactively without defaulting to the GCEO for intervention.
4. Financial & Operational Discipline
* Enforce budget discipline and operational cost control across the group.
* Optimise spending, minimise waste, and ensure resources are deployed toward priority outcomes.
* Flag inefficiencies, unnecessary spend, and low-impact activities early.
* Ensure operational decisions align with financial reality and strategic priorities.
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field.
* 10+ years experience in operations, execution leadership, or program delivery roles within startups, scale-ups, or fast-moving organizations.
* Proven track record of driving execution, enforcing standards, and building operational systems.
