Responsibilities;
- Lead the Ghana HR department, overseeing all HR operations, strategy, and planning.
- Implement HR plans aligned with business goals, including workforce planning, retention, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
- Localize and implement global HR strategies, frameworks, and programs within the Ghana site.
- Promote a high-performance culture through effective engagement, training, and development programs.
- Collaborate with site leaders and HR stakeholders in other African countries to support local HR needs and challenges.
- Support the rollout of HR policies, systems, and programs across the Africa region, ensuring local adaptation and compliance.
- Drive alignment of HR processes, tools, and culture across all sites while respecting local contexts.
- Advise executive leadership on HR matters, including organizational design, leadership development, and succession planning.
- Partner with Finance, Legal, and Operations on compensation and benefits strategies.
Requirements
- Must have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Must have at least ten (10) years of progressive work experience in HR with at least five (5) years in a leadership role.
- Experience working in fast-paced and growth-stage companies such as tech and financial services is mandatory.
- Having worked with a multinational organisation in same or similar capacity is strongly preferred.
- Proven track record in leading HR functions end-to-end (recruitment, performance, L&D, employee relations, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of Ghanaian labor law; familiarity with HR practices across other African countries is a plus.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
