Form Ghana Limited, a leading plantation management company committed to sustainable forestry practices and operational excellence, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Head Office Accountant.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a qualified accounting professional to oversee the company’s head office financial operations and lead our data protection and compliance framework. The ideal candidate will be a certified member of ICAG, ACCA, or CIMA, with a strong background in statutory reporting, financial management, and data protection. a) Account duties

  1. Manage Forex movement
  2. Computation & filing of all statutory payments and their payment to the appropriate authorities, including (WHT/PAYE/VAT/SSF tier 1,2,3)
  3. Manage petty cash accounts at HQ
  4. General management of cash/bank accounts at HQ and preparation of weekly/monthly cash situation updates
  5. Bank reconciliation statement preparation for HQ bank accounts
  6. Manage the Asset Register
  7. Prepare the year-end financial report for audit
  8. Process all invoices and payments at HQ
  9. Permanent Payroll computation at HQ
  10. General payroll consolidation of all permanent workers
  11. Tally entries of CEO’s cashbooks and bank transactions
  12. Manage external loans and internal salary advances
  13. Manage company insurance policies
  14. Monitor and analyse budget estimates and actual expenditure, and alert management of undue variations
  15. Manage intercompany accounts
  16. Supervise the HQ Accounts Assistant in their duties
  17. Assist in general stock management and stock audits
  18. Assist in investigations and research for management
  19. Assist in the end-of-year financial audit
  20. Assist in the preparation of the annual operational budget

b) Data Protection & Compliance Duties

  1. Responsible for Form Ghana’s Data Protection Program
  2. Ensure data protection requirements are met in all data processing activities
  3. Draft and review Data Protection Policies
  4. Train workers on Data Protection Policies
  5. Ensure the Data Protection Certificate is always active
  6. Supervise all personal and general data disposals
  7. Liaise with NCA for renewal of the Motorola licenses
  8. Perform any other duties not exceeding your capacity

Job Essentials

  1. Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree/HND in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  2. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a related field
  3. Must be a member of ICAG, ACCA, or CIMA
  4. Must be a Certified Data Protection Supervisor
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and forestry information systems
  6. Must have a valid NHIS Card, Ghana Card and SSNIT Number
  7. Possessing a valid Driver’s Licence (Class B) will be an added advantage
