Job Overview

The HR Officer will be responsible for managing key human resource functions within a retail environment, including recruitment, payroll coordination, employee relations, and HR compliance. The role requires strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law and experience in fast-paced retail operations.

Key Responsibilities

  •  Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for retail staff 
  •  Handle employee onboarding and offboarding procedures 
  •  Support payroll processing and ensure accurate HR data inputs 
  •  Manage employee relations and resolve HR-related queries 
  •  Maintain employee records and HR documentation 
  •  Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law and company policies 
  •  Support performance management and employee engagement activities 
  •  Coordinate with management on staffing and workforce planning needs 

Requirements

  •  3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in retail industry 
  •  Strong knowledge of recruitment, payroll, and employee relations 
  •  Good understanding of UAE Labour Law 
  •  Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field 
  •  CHRM or CIPD certification preferred 
  •  Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  •  Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment 
  •  High level of professionalism and confidentiality
