ATAF is seeking an experienced HR professional to manage the full HR function in delivering strategic HR services. This role reports to the Head of Corporate Services.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organisational goals
  • Talent Acquisition: Develop recruitment strategies, conduct selection processes, and facilitate hiring to attract top talent
  • Performance Management: Design and oversee performance management systems, providing coaching and leading evaluations
  • Compensation & Benefits: Manage remuneration, benefits, payroll, and annual benchmarking to ensure competitive, equitable compensation
  • HR Administration: Handle HR administration, including systems setup, leave management, compliance, work permits, and monthly reporting
  • Employee Engagement: Drive engagement, wellness programs, employee relations, and culture-building initiatives
  • HR Governance: Ensure HR governance, policy updates, and employee relations processes are managed in line with ATAF's governing rules


Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Postgraduate qualification in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology, Public Management, or Business Administration
  • At least 10 years as a senior HR Generalist
  • Experience in an international or regional organisation will be an advantage
  • Strong experience with South African employment law
  • Proficiency in SAGE 300 People
  • Experience managing foreign nationals' processes and procedures
  • Excellent English communication skills; Portuguese, Arabic, or French is an advantage
  • Proven organisational, analytical, and interpersonal skills in multicultural settings
