We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our Finance team.


Key Responsibilities
* Process daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
* Prepare payment vouchers, journals, and ledger postings.
* Reconcile bank statements and supplier/customer accounts.
* Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and management accounts.
* Monitor cash receipts, expenses, and petty cash activities.
* Support statutory compliance, including tax documentation and regulatory filings.
* Maintain proper filing of financial documents and accounting records.
* Assist during internal and external audits.
* Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned.


Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
* Minimum of 1–3 years relevant accounting experience.
* Professional qualification (ICAN/ANAN) or active student membership will be an added advantage.
* Good knowledge of accounting principles and Nigerian tax regulations.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Odoo, SAP, or similar ERP systems).
* Strong analytical, numerical, and reconciliation skills.
* High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines.
