Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Operator to operate, monitor, and maintain production equipment used for specialized services, including UV printing, laser cutting, engraving, and other related production processes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring machines are operated safely and efficiently while maintaining high-quality production standards and meeting required timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor UV printing, laser cutting, engraving, and other production machines.
- Set up machines according to job specifications, materials, and production requirements.
- Load and unload materials and ensure proper machine alignment and settings.
- Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments to maintain production quality.
- Conduct routine cleaning, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of machines.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet required quality standards.
- Follow production schedules and complete assigned jobs within specified deadlines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company health, safety, and operating procedures.
- Report machine faults, defects, or maintenance requirements to the supervisor.
- Maintain proper records of production activities, machine usage, and materials where required.
- Assist with other production-related duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience working as a Machine Operator or in a similar production role.
- Valid Type C driver's license or higher.
- Practical knowledge of operating production machinery.
- Experience with UV printing, laser cutting, engraving, or similar equipment is an advantage.
- Basic mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow instructions, production specifications, and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good time-management and organizational skills.
- Physically fit and able to handle production materials as required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in signage, digital printing, fabrication, advertising production, or a related industry.
- Familiarity with design files and basic production software is an advantage.
- Ability to identify and resolve basic machine or production issues.
- Strong sense of responsibility and reliability.
Working Conditions
- Full-time production environment.
