Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Shielded Metal Arc Welding (stick welding) on carbon steel and alloy materials.
- Select appropriate electrodes based on material type and joint design.
- Control welding parameters (current, arc length) to avoid defects like porosity or cracks.
- Perform root, fill, and cap passes on pipe and structural joints.
- Use chipping hammers and wire brushes to remove slag between passes.
